How does TagTeam® improve nitrogen fixation and phosphate availability?

TagTeam® is based on Penicillium bilaiae and specially selected rhizobia. In a beneficial relationship with the plant, the rhizobia form nodules. These nodules help fix atmospheric nitrogen. Significant amounts of phosphate fertilizer become bound to soil particles and other elements. That means they go unused. The naturally-occurring fungus Penicillium bilaiae grows along plant roots. It releases bound mineral forms of soil and fertilizer phosphate. That makes it more readily available for the plant to use.
