With BioRemove™ COD LT, you can keep your plant stable and effluent quality high all through the winter months. BioRemove™ COD LT is also suitable for use at system start-up.

Description Details

Keeping your plant in compliance can be a challenge during winter, especially if you're running a lagoon system. The psychrophilic (cold-loving) microorganisms in BioRemove™ COD LT degrade organics from many industries. So they're suitable for use in a wide range of industrial facilities, even in cold weather. They deliver lower operating costs, improved plant efficiency and simplified operations. They also help reduce your permit violations and surcharges. 

Effective at low temperature

Every 10 °C (50 °F) drop in temperatures typically cuts bacterial  biochemical reaction rates in half. In your plant, that means a reduction in oxygen uptake rate (OUR) or COD removal. The  microorganisms  in this product thrive at low temperatures. That means your plant can transition to winter operations safely and quickly. 

Effectively degrades hard COD

High levels of recalcitrant organics can be difficult to remove and increase COD. That leads to a range of problems for your plant. This product effectively degrades hard COD improving your plant's effluent quality.
