Adding documents to the media library

On this page, you will learn how to add documents directly to the media library.

The format of these files can be PPT or PDF.

The video, below, shows how to add documents to the media library. The purpose of doing this is to be able to add them as "downloadable" files on your page. Once these are "saved" in the media library, they can be used at any point in time, for any pages.

Make sure that the "Published" checkbox at the bottom of the page is ticked, before saving. If you are building a page and your video does not appear in the media library, it might be because it has not been published.

Please ensure that you have clearance to publish and share the file prior to uploading it online. Do not upload any confidential documents that you do not want publicly available.

There is the option to make the document "gated" - i.e a user needs to fill out a contact form before the file is available to download. The process to do this is explained here.
