Image upload:

The images will automatically be compressed and cropped to fit into the heros, blocks, etc. File sizes are limited to max 2 MB. So please compress them before uploading if larger than this. You can use tinypng: https://tinypng.com/

For the sake of search engine optimisation, the smaller the file size, the better. 

Video upload:

Different compression apps can be used for this help with the below We’ve, for instance, used “Handbrake” which works for both Mac and PC. 

Hero:

The image ratio of the Hero image (image at the top of the page) should be 16:9, with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixel, preferably. 

The file size should preferably max be 10 MB, to avoid giving users too big page loads and also minimize data transfer. 

Please consider where the text will be placed when chosing a Hero image - there should be some "neutral" space so that the text stands out, usually on the top left hand side of the pitcture.

Grid Block:

The image ratio should be 16:9 with main focus point in the center, as the images will occasionally be cropped. The resolution should be kept to 640x360 pixel. Anything larger than this, will not be displayed properly. 

The file size should preferably be a maximum of 2 MB, to avoid long page-loading times and minimise data transfers.

Icon upload:

Icons need to be uploaded in SVG format. 

Media format:

Media can be uploaded in PNG, GIF, JPG, JPEG, SVG, JSON, MP4 format. For text with media modules, use SVG, PNG, or JPEG format. SVG & PNG preferred when possible.

For carousel blocks, only use PNG, GIF, JPG, JPEG.
