A PVC emulsion polymer plant had difficulties meeting effluent limits for surfactants as measured by Methylene Blue Active Substances (MBAS). By applying BioRemove COD SF and BioRemove COD LT the plant achieved 95% removal rate efficiency, bringing MBAS effluent levels below <0.1 l/mg.
